Building a Following on Twitter

Twitter value isn’t in how many people are following you – it’s not a popularity contest. Listening and learning via Twitter is the bulk of the value.

Craft a bio that describes your top level interests so others who share those interests can find you easily. And return the favor; follow tweeters who interest you.

Share links to interesting stories and pictures. Always be linking. Be a part of the conversation ... talk with tweeple; don't talk at them.

If you’re regularly engaging, you’ll get the following. Don’t force it … it’ll come naturally. I promise.
